• Establish and maintain branch profitability by controlling hours, route efficiency, truck and building maintenance and risk management, to include vehicle safety and work-related injuries.
• Must be able to identify, assess, and resolve issues adversely affecting branch profitability.
• Ensure that security is maintained for all facets of branch operations. Must interact with and respond to the Security Department’s recommendations & procedures.
• Promote and enforce a safe work environment with a great safety culture.
Schedule all routes to insure all scheduled stops are serviced.
• Staff the branch in proportion to the number of routes/trucks available and maintain FT/PB employee staffing ratio.
• Train, counsel, develop and evaluate all branch employees.
• Respond to customer complaints/questions.
• Oversee the vault operations, insuring security and operational procedures are followed. Insure all shipments are accounted for and that the vault is balanced daily.
• Must be knowledgeable on Company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to perform all branch jobs (Driver/Guard, Vault Manager, etc.).
• Other duties as required
• College degree or equivalent management/industry experience.
• Three-Five years’ experience working in the security, transportation or related industries, to include management experience with P&L responsibilities.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
• Must possess or be able to obtain:
o Valid driver’s license;
o Ability to obtain a gun permit, where necessary. (A criminal conviction may prevent issuance of a gun permit.)
o DOT certification
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software.
