Job Summary:

Provide specialized investigative and administrative support to the Security Department regarding claim investigations and potential loss investigations as directed.

Essential Job Functions
• Responsible for managing, tracking and researching all ATM claims within assigned regions and other regions as needed
• Conduct in depth analysis, research and resolution of ATM claims within the customer’s contractual time requirements and/or within no more than 30 days of receipt of the claim
• Prepare written reports of findings, conclusions and recommendations for payment or denial for each claim. Reports will reference specific documentation used to reach such conclusion
• Analysis and research will include reviewing ATM documentation and settlement information as well as researching various internal data bases to validate the claim and/or determine reasons why the claim cannot be validated
• Review video footage of CVS teller activity and/or armored crew activity to identify suspicious activities and/or to confirm activity.
• Identify, document and report Suspicious ATM loss patterns or trends to the affected Regional Security Director
• Prepare written updates in preparation for scheduled conference calls with banking institutions regarding ATM claim updates.
• Maintain a full understanding of the contractual requirements for each customer and ensure compliance as it pertains requesting records, shared liability notification, providing lock audits, ATM receipts and any other records required of the customer
• Maintain complete and up to date files for each claim researched –investigated
• Research nominal claims and/or potential claims associated CVS strap shortages, cash safe shortages, missing deposits, deposit discrepancies, and provide payment or denial recommendation
• Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports to include total number of claims investigated, total number claims paid and total number of claims denied.
• Ensure CVS branches within assigned region are consistently distributing daily-weekly difference reports. Review these reports to identify potential claims
• Notify the Regional Security Director of any branches that are not providing requested documentation and/or information in a timely manner
